Woah Nelly is a 16-page, seasonal zine inspired by The Magnetic Fields’ song A Chicken With Its Head Cut Off. It tells the story of one decapitated bird’s search for love in a world that’s already moved on.

Rejected by its former flame and ostracized by the residents of Cold Comfort Farm, this determined little foul won’t be stopped by a missing head or a broken heart. In a final act of seasonal serendipity, love appears. Strange? Yes. Beautiful? Definitely. Poetic? Of course.

This is a story for the season of strange love, second chances, and delightfully weird endings. Perfect for those who like their Halloween with a dash of heartbreak and their romance a little… offbeat.
